I don't know about the rest of you, but over the holidays I stuffed my already chubby face with just about everything from apple pie to chicken wings to meat on a stick, not to mention the booze! I can't seem to pass by a box of Dunkin' Donut munchkins without jamming down a couple of glazed sugar balls! I talk to myself daily thinking there must be a way to drop 25 pounds in 4 days.

So I decided to Google "How Fat is Connecticut?" and up popped an obesity study from
WalletHub.com. Perfect! The stats are scary. More than 75% of American adults are either overweight or obese, That's 75%! In 2014 for the first time ever, the amount of obese adults outnumbered the amount of overweight adults!

WalletHub took it upon themselves to rank the most obese states by taking two key dimensions into account for each state, "Obesity and Overweight Prevalence" and "Unhealthy Habits and Consequences" along with some other crap I don't understand. Connecticut came in as one of the least chubbiest states at #45, while New York placed at #35.

The Top 5 Chubbiest States:

1. Mississippi

2. Louisiana

3. West Virginia

4. Tennesee

5. West Virginia

The Top 5 Least Chubbiest States:

1. Hawaii

2. Colorado

3. New Jersey

4. Massachusetts

5. Utah

The state with the highest percentage of obese children was "Mississippi" and the lowest percentage was "Colorado." The stats were the same as the kids for obese adults. For complete survey results, go to Wallethub.com
