How About This Couple That is Getting Married at Burger King?

The girl's name is Ashley King and the guys name is Joel Burger so yeah they are "Burger King." 

According to The State Journal-Register the two met in kindergarten and the pair quickly earned the nickname Burger-King. Then they went to college together and started dating, the nickname stuck and the rest as they say is history.

Burger King the corporation somehow got wind of this and made them an offer that apparently they could not pass up. They would have their wedding at Burger King and the company would pick up the whole tab.

WHAT TAB!?   Even if they manage to cram 100 people in there you are talking about what $500 worth of food!?

I could see if your names were Kevin Ethan and Patricia Allen and the Ethan Allen corporation offered to pick up the tab for your wedding and you can have it at one of their hotels.

This, however, is REALLY REALLY DUMB.

The rest of your life you have to tell the story of how Uncle Al spilled his Whopper on cousin Chrissy's bridesmaids dress.

And what kind of woman is allowing this to happen on the biggest day of her life?

I tell ya it is cooky all the way around.  This is whackjobsville, and these two are the mayor and first lady.

P.S.  What would you order for dinner at your wedding at Burger King?  I'd ask for one of the old school International chicken sandwiches.  I don't even know if they still have them but they were AMAZING!
