“Heroes For Hire” Veterans Career Fair On April 14th (Video!)

On Tuesday, April 14th our military veterans are invited to attend "The 11th Heroes For Hire" Veterans Career Fair at the Rentschler Field Ballroom in East Hartford from 11am to 3pm. More than 80 employers and service providers will be on hand to talk with vets about possible job openings. This is the largest career fair of its type in New England and is geared for vets looking for jobs or to upgrade their current employment situation. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, bring along plenty of resumes, and to be ready to talk with prospective employers. All vets are welcome including disabled vets. This past Monday morning, Lou and I had the opportunity to have Veterans Employment Representative, James R. Lauber, a USMC vet on the air to talk about this huge career fair.
