Police in Hibbing, Minnesota are investigating a bizarre break-in at a liquor store last week.

A burglar broke in to a liquor store late at night last week.  He smashed a glass window worth several thousand dollars, bypassed all the various "good stuff" on the shelves, and stole 3 cases of Keystone Light beer.

The value of the Keystone Light was estimated at around $45.

Look, I'm all for cheap booze. As a former college student, I appreciated the "quantity not quality" aspect of bottom-shelf liquor.  Our beverage of choice was Meister Brau which I think went for about $3.99 a case.

But jeez, if you're going to take the risk of breaking into a liquor store, wouldn't you grab something a little better than Keystone on your way out?  Look, over there: some nice vintage bottles of wine. A little Johnnie Walker Blue.  Maybe the nice big bottle of Goose.

The police in Hibbing are trying to track the burglar down. They should be able to spot him due to his epic hangover.
