Do You Have A “Passion(s)”?

What do you love to do.....listen to music?.......collect stuff like stamps or baseball cards, guitars, or maybe cars? As a noun "passion" is defined as "a strong or extravagant fondness, enthusiasm, or desire for anything."

I'm an incredibly lucky guy because one of my passions is my job, even after 35 years. Music is huge! I'm one of those guys who needs to know who the musicians are on an album, what brand of guitar they play, do they use Elixer or D'Addario strings, who's doing the high harmony. You get the picture. My Taylor 616ce acoustic guitar makes me very happy. I love the way it feels, looks, and sounds, especially with a new set of strings.

Singing!! I'm always singing, just ask Lou. There's just an amazing feeling you get when your playing and singing a tune that can be difficult to describe. Our pontoon boat is also right up there with the rest of them. Cocktail/Dinner sunset cruises on Candlewood Lake with Mindy and some great friends make every summer special.

To top everything off, it goes without saying that spending time with the family and an amazing array of friends is the best, especially our new Grandson, Bradley! Do you have any passions in your life and are you able to appreciate what you have, instead of being bummed out by what you don't have? I know one thing for sure, I am one lucky Grandpa!!
