INDIAN WELL STATE PARK - SHELTON
Indian Well Park in Shelton not only offers great swimming areas but also gives you the opportunity to perfect your cliff diving technique. Scenic features of the park include a horsetail waterfall and a splash pool at the bottom plus a shady picnic grove right next to the water.

LAKE WARAMAUG - NEW PRESTON
Lake Waramaug is located in the towns of Warren and New Preston about 20 miles from New Milford up Rt 202 north. Swimming access to the lake is via Lake Waramaug State Park. If you're able, bring along your bike, because the ride around the lake is easy and filled with some great sight seeing.

SQUANTZ POND STATE PARK - NEW FAIRFIELD
Squantz Pond State Park is located about 5 miles from the center of New Fairfield on Rt. 39. This park is the favorite for many New York City families. If you're planning an all day outing on a beautiful summer's weekend, my advice is to get arrive early because the park fills quickly.

Black Rock State Park is located in Watertown, exit 38 off Rt. 8. BRSP offers excellent swimming, camping, beautiful hiking trails, and camping on 78 wooded sights.

Kettletown Park is located on the eastern shore of Lake Zoar in Southbury and is a gorgeous intimate destination for swimming, camping, hiking and picnicking. You have 63 camp sights to choose from and 6 miles of trails with panoramic overlooks at Lake Zoar.
