METRO NORTH'S been taking some flak.... BUT there is at least one benefit to being a commuter!!! A new study found that people who takes a train,subway, or bus can burn 162 calories going back and forth to work. Between at least 10 minutes of standing, two flights of stairs or more and another 11 minutes of walking each way your getting that heart pumping!!! So there's some good news as you hump your way to make a dollar Monday-Friday!!! No wonder we're so psyched when the weekend arrives.
