I love my job!  I really do love it and there are SO many reasons why but one of them is I get to have conversations with people I've been fans of for years.  One of those people is Bernie Williams.  I went to my first Yankee game when I was 3 and will always be a die hard.

I was there in the 80's when other than Don Mattingly there was NO hope.  Roberto Kelly, Steve Sax, Ricky Henderson, Dave Winfield, Rick Cerone, Steve Balbone were just some of the names I rooted for and they were lean times for Yankee fans.  Then when I was in high school the Yankees became a force again on the backs of guys like Bernie Williams and he was amazing.  He may not make it into the Hall of Fame but he was AS clutch a postseason hitter as you will ever see.  This will be the 5th or 6th time I've had a chance to talk to him and I'm just as excited as the first time.  Only problem.....we can't ask about A-Rod!!!!  That is what his people said.  It sucks because it makes me look like I don't know what I am doing because that absolutely should be my lead question but who cares.  I always look like I don't know what I'm doing.  Plus he is coming on for a good cause to promote the Hillside Food Outreach.  Yankee fans don;t miss tomorrow!
