This Saturday from 3-9 pm, the Brookfield High School Class of 1978 will throw their annual "Brookstock" benefit concert at the Brookfield Town Hall bandstand on Pocono Road.

The Class of '78 puts this concert on annually, with proceeds going to benefit a different charity every year.  This year proceeds from the concert will benefit the family of Kevin Mateer, who was tragically killed earlier this year when a tree fell on his car during a thunderstorm in New Milford.

Bands playing at the concert include Drama Bad, Battle Maiden, Dan's Garage, Damaged Freight, Roots Rock Revue and the '78 All Stars.

Admission is free but donations will gladly be accepted. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and T-shirts for sale. Bring a blanket, lawn chair, food & drink. For more info check out the festival's Facebook page.
