I feel like a super shopping sleuth. Alright, maybe not quite sleuth, but I am here to keep you in the loop about shopping around Danbury.

To know me is to know I love to shop til I drop. I'm always searching for new places to leave some of my cash behind. But not quite like this.

According to newstimes.com, an investigation is underway after credit card skimmers were found on some payment machines at the Primark store in the Danbury Fair mall location. Danbury Fair is not alone however. The story in the News Times says Primark recently found skimming devices in other parts of the country. The skimmers may have affected some credit and debit card transactions starting  on July 29.

In a release from Primark in the News Times the company said:

The security of our customers remains a priority for Primark, and the company sincerely regrets that this incident has occurred. Primark continues to work with law enforcement agencies who are investigating this incident. Should customers have any questions or other concerns about this matter, please call 1-866-611-5796

That said, I've shopped at Primark, haven't had an issue, and this shopaholic says the deals are amazing.

While we are talking shopping, another go - to spot of mine just opened at Danbury Fair. Ulta Beauty opened their doors just about a week ago. If you haven't been before, it is a fantastic one stop shopping experience for all things "beauty" related.
