The NewsTimes tells the story of how Blair Toci grew up making pizza dough. He now owns five restaurants in New York City and Phoenix, Arizona. He was up in New Milford with some buddies playing golf at the Candlewood Valley Country Club when he noticed a building for rent across the street. That empty spot is now 'Bravo NY Pizza' located at 358 Danbury Road in New Milford.

The six reviewers on Yelp.com all give 'Bravo NY Pizza' 5 stars saying the pizza is close to perfect and tastes just like pizza from NYC. Honestly there are really no pizzerias that serve southern New Milford. Toci's ingredients come directly from Brooklyn which he drives up himself.

New York-style pizza originated in NYC in the early 1900's and are distinguished by their crispy thin crust. According to thepizzajoint.com, each man, woman, and child eats 46 slices per year. That would be 23 pounds of pizza per year and there are approximately 16,429 pizzerias in the U.S.

Bravo's New York Pizza already has a buzz going on in New Milford. Toci says that many work places come into the shop for lunch on a regular basis because of the thin crust pizza, friendly, quick service, and excellent prices. They're opened seven days a week from 11am to 9pm.
