With turkey being the focus of Thanksgiving dinner there are always some creative recipes available, if you want to try something different. There is another option as well. I've never tried it, but there are lots of recipes for it and some people really like it.

I'm talking about making a Turducken. I can picture your face right now if you have never heard of it. I remember when I first heard that word and I had no idea what it was.

Wikipedia has a good description of it and it has pictures. Basically, it's a chicken (bones removed) stuffed into a duck (bones removed) stuffed into a turkey (bones removed). As I said, I've never tried this, but I know people who have and they really like it.

It does not look easy to make though. You can check out wikiHow for step-by-step instructions, including how to remove the bones from the birds. Food Network has a Paula Deen turducken recipe and I found a recipe on Allrecipes.com too. So you can check those out if you are thinking of adding a little twist on Thanksgiving dinner.

What do you think? Will you be trying a Thanksgiving turducken this year?
