A Western Connecticut Snowglobe

It was really beautiful outside this morning, and I saw a striking red Cardinal.

It was just outside my door, what a beautiful contrast to the pure white snow that was falling.

It was so silent, the snow that was falling absorbed any sound in the area. A car would slowly drive by, and you couldn't hear it anymore in about 5 seconds. A stark contrast to the :30 second drag races typically on my street.

Even pulling into our building, it's just so peaceful out there when the snow is falling. I enjoy these simple things. I'm not scared of the snow like we're told to be by every television weatherman. It's temporary.

These ladies and gentlemen clearing our paths are professionals. Enjoy it while you can, It will make the spring rebirth that much sweeter.
