Some Light Reading For Beatles Fans!

If you're a Rock radio listener, you know we DJ's love our minutia and Rock trivia. I'm especially guilty of this when it comes to the Beatles.  I've got 2 entire bookshelves filled with Beatle books, and even though I pretty much know the story of the Fab Four by now, I'm always looking for the next great book to tell me something I didn't know.  So as you can imagine, I'm pretty psyched about this series of books coming out by Beatle historian Mark Lewisohn.  It will eventually be a 3-volume set.  This first volume is almost 1,000 pages, and only takes you up to 1962!  It also has the added bonus of weighing a ton, so picking it up and carrying it around will suffice as a workout if you're too busy to go to the gym and work off some of those holiday pounds.  I'm only a couple of pages in, so I will report back when I'm done, but if you have a gift card from a bookstore burning a hole in your pocket and love the Beatles, this may be a great addition to your collection!
