Candlewood Lake is a manmade lake located in western Connecticut. The 8.4-square mile body or water spans through both Fairfield County and Litchfield County and is bordered by Brookfield, Danbury, New Fairfield, New Milford and Sherman, Connecticut. As one of the more popular spots for boating and fishing in the state, Candlewood Lake does not disappoint when it comes to fun on the water.
