Tomorrow (September 9) is Stand up to Cancer Day, and tonight is your chance to stand up to cancer with a very special evening in Brookfield. Tonight, along with some help from the fine folks at Service Stars in Danbury, the annual William Raveis & Damon Runyon Cancer Research Night takes place at Down the Hatch on Candlewood Lake Road.

You can help stand up to cancer by stopping by "The Hatch" anytime between 5 PM and 9 PM, and simply eating dinner. Proceeds from the evening will go directly to the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation.

There will be special raffle items to bid on and t-shirts for sale, all to benefit cancer research.

So, you get to do the easiest thing on the planet -- eat and drink -- which helps people suffering from cancer. Doing a good deed will make you feel great about yourself, and you barely have to put any effort into it.

So, join me tonight for the William Raveis & Damon Runyon Cancer Research Night from 5 pm to 9 pm at Down The Hatch in Brookfield. I would love to see you there, we can both have a good time for a great cause.
