  • The French flag is flying over the Connecticut State Capitol in Hartford. Gov. Dannell Malloy has also ordered all U.S. and Connecticut state flags at half-staff until sunset on Thursday in accordance with a proclamation by President Obama.

 

  • Just in time for your holiday shopping! Bass Pro Shops store is set to open this week in Bridgeport. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is being held at the store Wednesday night.

 

  • While we don't want to think about snow, this is good news. Connecticut's Department of Transportation has purchased 114 new snowplows.The state plow fleet consists of 632 trucks, and the new ones will replace some of the oldest machines in the fleet.
