How Bull & Barrel Brew Pub Crafted the Ethan and Lou Brews

The day has finally arrived! Saturday, September 24 when I-95 Presents CT On Tap at the Ives Concert Park featuring over 100 craft brews.

Rick and Wendy, owners of the Bull & Barrel Brew Pub in Brewster, NY stopped by our studios on Friday morning the 23rd carrying some very special cargo, hand crafted special brews for each one of us. About a month ago, Lou and I headed over to the Bull and Barrel to meet with Rick to talk about what kind of specially crafted beer we had in mind. Lou was looking for a light citrusy summer kind of beer, and I had asked for a custom brewed beer made with mango and honey whiskey. With our ideas in mind, Rick met with his brewmaster and got to work. Check out the brief video about how the beer was made.

I'm not gonna lie to ya! These two special brews are incredible! The Lou Brew which contains 4.8% alcohol is light and refreshing with just the perfect blend of citrus flavor, perfect for summertime drinking. The E-Brew at 7.8% alcohol is a superb blend of aged mango that teams up with a touch of honey whiskey, which makes this beer full bodied but not overbearing.
