On Sunday, December 22, one hundred enthusiastic Wilton residents joined their voices in song at the Village Market to honor and surprise Wilton's true 'music man,' Al Galletly by singing him an angelic rendition of 'Hallelujah' according to an article in Good Morning Wilton.

For over 37 years, Galletly's musical talents guided the Wilton Playshop and the Wilton's Children's Theatre. He also served as the musical director of the Wilton Presbyterian Church. It was his daughter, Meg Galletly Campbell who posted a request on Facebook to join her at the Village Market to help honor her father and his 37 years of musical distinction to the town of Wilton.
