Hey, Bruce Springsteen fans, there's a unique opportunity coming up over the next couple of weeks.

Over the Summer, Springsteen released his first new album in over 5 years titled Western Stars. During the recording process, he hired himself an orchestra and a film crew, and performed all 13 of the album tracks in a converted barn, which he turned into a world-class documentary. This film is also The Boss' directorial debut.

It's called Bruce Springsteen's Western Stars, and before its widespread release, the film will be exclusively shown in just few select theaters for two nights on October 19 and October 23. It just so happens that on of those special screening locations is right here in Danbury at the AMC Danbury 16 on Eagle Road. There is only one showing at 7:00 PM on Saturday the 19th, but there are two shows, at 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Wednesday the 23rd.

Back in September, Bruce said at a press conference in Toronto that he figured this was the best way to get this music live in front of fans since he had no plans to tour and perform the songs. He performs the album in it's entirety in the film, and added spoken pieces in between to fully flesh out the meaning and the feeling behind the album.
