My Daughter Vida’s Personality Has Come Into Focus, She’s Fantastically Weird

Forgive me -- I know no one cares about anyone else's kid.

I just wanted all of you to know I've found my future best friend. This kid is weird in the most entertaining ways. She is weird because it entertains her to be that way. It's next-level charm that she's got going for her, and she knows it.

Like the other day, she put on her big brother's button down, her other brother's "Minion" winter cap, grabbed a candle holder and had herself a good old time.

It's tough to make out what she is trying to do, so I'll just tell you. She's at the water cooler, filling the candle holder with shots full of water. She then does a shot of H2O and pours another in a normal size container on the floor. It was a huge mess, but a good show ain't free.

One day, she'll reach an age where this post will embarrass her or maybe not, she is weird. If she's anything like she is now, she won't care. By then, her carefree, whack job attitude will have grown in strength. Oh, then there was this:

The day she insisted I put every bow she owns in her hair. Every bow but one -- that one I had to wear.
