Take in some of the best local film talent at Western Connecticut State University’s Fourth Annual Media Arts Film Festival. It’s happening at the Student Center on the Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury starting at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 2.

The public is invited with no fee to get in. Films in the festival were judged by the quality of content and technical and aesthetic excellence. Faculty members and professors are the judges.

This is a black tie event, so formal attire is requested. One of the judges, faculty member, Professor of Communication and Media Arts Dr. JC Barone says:

Students and faculty look forward to this annual black tie event...it’s a great opportunity to showcase the best student short films, animation and interactive 360-media.
