This is a great way to celebrate summer no matter what the weather! You and the family can see more than 350,000 red and yellow sunflowers in one place. Not just in a flower field, see them in a maze that you can walk through at Lyman Orchards.

You can get an idea of how amazing this is by watching the video of the sunflower maze at Lyman Orchards, 32 Reeds Gap Road in Middlefield, Connecticut. This year the maze celebrates Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo. The maze itself is a tribute to the two brand new Amur tiger cubs, Reka and Zeya. The cubs were born at the Zoo in the fall. As kids learn about the animals and navigate the maze, they'll have lots of fun.  The maze is spread out on 2.5 acres. Don’t be surprised if you spot yellow finches and butterflies there too.  They’re open every day 9 am to 5 pm only until August 26th.
