So the other day "a local paper" published a list of "You Know You're From Danbury" stuff. It was pretty incomplete.  We put our heads together and figured we could do better.

Here are my picks:

I asked my co-workers to add to the list and here is what we came up with. You know you're from Danbury if...

  • If you parked on the other side of the chain link fence at Danbury Airport to make out.
  • Before TK's, you went to A.W. Shucks and the Bushwhacker.
  • No matter who was "your guy" in NASCAR, you also rooted for Jerry Nadeau.
  • Ethan Carey DJ'd your prom, your wedding, or both.
  • Chick Stockwell was a household name at your house.
  • Before Molly Darcy's, you went to Yesterday's, Corona's or Thursdays.
  • You had an i95 Moose button on your jean jacket.
  • You listened to Abe Najamy for the school closings.
  • You went to the Dial Tone and called people at other tables.
  • You've played softball at Rogers Park.
  • You went to West Fest at the Ives Concert Park for their one Rock concert a year.
  • You raced a car in the City Center Grand Prix.
  • You saw Eddie Money in concert at Tuxedo Junction.
  • Before Elan's, you went to City Limits and Promises.
  • You hear the words "JK's Texas Hot Weiners" and start salivating.
  • After the CT bars closed, you went to Keltie's.
  • You attended an i95 Beach Party at the Danbury Hilton.
  • You'd know Paul Baker's voice anywhere as the Racearena announcer.
  • You got all dressed up to go shopping at Feinson's.
  • You saw Twisted Sister and the Good Rats at the Fore 'N Aft.

What did we miss? Add your own to our list in the comments!
