Yanks vs. Sox: Connecticut Is the Dividing Line

Tim Sheehan and I have worked here together at I-95 for over 15 years, and have gotten along splendidly. However, things can get tense during baseball season.

In all seriousness though, the rivalry is just not what it used to be. No one really cares when these two mix it up anymore. It's just not as special as it was back in the day. I mean, we are talking about a rivalry that involved an ace pitcher fighting a 70-year-old bench coach. Yes, Pedro Martinez and Don Zimmer fought, and Jorge Posada and Pedro threatened to hit each other. Jason Varitek and Alex Rodriguez tried to remove one another's heads. It's just not that anymore. But, we can always daydream about the glory days.
