There are so many wonderful museums in Connecticut to explore. Fabulous, awe inspiring art exhibits and more. It's time to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History.

David K.Skelly, Director, Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History posted his Director's welcome online at peabody.yale.org, announcing the excitement that 2016 brings to New Haven.

According to the Peabody website, a new exhibit is opening at the Yale Peabody Museum Saturday April 2nd to celebrate the 150th anniversary. It will highlight some of the museum's most impressive items, like the first T-Rex fossil ever collected, one of Buffalo Bill's rifles, and a clam that weighs over 500 pounds.

You can even delve deeper into this nugget in Connecticut. The New Haven Register has a story about Connecticut author Richard Conniff and his recently published book House of Lost Worlds which is available through Amazon.
