They say a picture is worth a thousand words. This one is worth at least two thousand.

This is back in Ethan Carey's music days. He was a singer/songwriter in such bands as Green Machine and Sun Up. If you were living in the Rochester, NY area in the late 60's/early 70's, then you could not miss him. This guy was bigger than sliced bread. He and Sun Up opened for Linda Ronstadt, Jimmy Cliff and the James Gang.

This guy is just magic. He's electric. He is a force to be reckoned with. You see, this dude was all hippy love. He was a soft rock God. He would weave elaborate lyrical stories set to whimsical guitar licks. Chicks would lose their minds, and bras and panties would simply melt when he performed.

And just for a second, let's look at his head. Just look how little he cared about what you thought. Let's dig on his hair first. Didn't bother to brush it. Like Beyonce, he woke up like this. Check the beard game. That beard is unkempt and it grows how it wants. Some here, some there -- who is to say? When he was told he needed glasses, the doctor asked what kind of frames he wanted. He said, "Gimme the big ones. I want 20/20 vision out of all corners of my eyes". You top all of this sex off with a hat taken off a dead hobo, and you have got sweet perfection. Give a plaid shirt right now and put your typical 70's teenager in a leisure suit right next to me, and you have just traveled back in time. I hope you enjoyed the ride.

Here is my morning show partner Ethan Carey singing a song about a horse trainer. I kid you not. Dude's singing about a horse trainer. You cannot make this up. This flirtatious selection is called, "Woody." Get it up in ya.

P.S. In all, I wrote 300 some odd words, not 2,000.
