On May 16, 2016 the Draken Viking Ship left its port in Haugesund, Norway to sail across the North Atlantic and it's arrived in the States for you to experience.

One thousand years ago, the Vikings set sail across the North Atlantic to find the New World. That journey of courage and the unknown is being replicated as I write this. Construction of the Draken began in March of 2010 and was launched for a test run on June 5, 2012. It is the largest Viking ship built in modern times measuring 115 feet long, 26 feet wide and the mast reaches close to 79 feet high. The top speed of this majestic vessel is 14 knots and is skippered by Swedish captain, Bjorn Ahlander and his 32 skilled full time sailors.
