I love clams, but I sure would love them more if I had this ladies luck. Can you imagine?

Clams. I love them on the half shell with hot horseradish cocktail sauce. I love fried clams, and I especially adore whole belly clams. And, I love clams mixed in with other shellfish and served with pasta. Now, if only I could have been eating that tasty treat in a restaurant out in Washington state.

In a story from ABCnews.com, an Italian restaurant in Washington state served up a pasta dish with a rare gem in it. Lindsay Hasz was the unlucky, and then very lucky woman who bit down on a rare purple pearl worth about six hundred dollars. Now, my theory in life is that if I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. So here's how this scenario would go for me. I'd bite down on a piece of clam shell, bust a tooth, and it would cost me 600 bucks to fix it.

Well, here's to Lindsay and that possible new Pearl Necklace!
