Yes, a courtroom battle....

I pictured a Witch vs Warlock battle like you see in the movies, hovering around each other, dancing around electrical bursts, or hurling flames and curses. Well, it's 2015, and a Witch and a Warlock have been reduced to battling each other in a Salem, Massachusetts courtroom.

FOX61.COM reports that self-proclaimed witch Lori Sforza won a protective order against Warlock Christian Day this past Wednesday. Sforza and Day were owners of an occult store in Salem, but the relationship soured, and that's when Sforza alleges that Day started making harassing late night phone calls and posted mean things about her on Facebook. The judge in the case granted a protective order against Day after noting the volume and late times in the evening that the alleged phone calls were made.

Is this what we're reduced to in 2015? I would think that the dark forces they both claim to harness would come into play in this instance. But, alas, we now have to realize that an attorney is the ultimate power in the battle of witchcraft. Double, double toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble...Oh, and your honor, I ask that this motion be dismissed on the grounds that my client was not on the alleged broomstick at the time.
