The New England Patriots are 8-0 and it's starting to look like they could run the table.

As we have reached the halfway mark of the NFL schedule the Pats are white hot and seem to be getting stronger each week.  Just looking at their remaining schedule will tell you that on paper they  could go undefeated.  Here's what is left:

  • Nov. 15th - @Giants
  • Nov. 23rd - Home v. Bills
  • Nov. 29th - @Broncos
  • Dec. 6th - Home v. Eagles
  • Dec. 13th - @Texans
  • Dec. 20th - Home v. Titans
  • Dec. 27th - @Jets
  • Jan. 3rd - @Dolphins

Giants -

I know everyone from New York looks at this weeks game and says that the Giants have had the Patriots number in big games.  Two in particular come to mind but these are two very different teams.  The fact is the Giants do not have the defense to stop Brady and company.  They also like most teams have no answer for Gronkowski.  PATS WIN.

Bills -

The  Bills are a mess under Rex Ryan.  He is supposed to be a defensive genius and took a Bills team with great defensive personnel and made them worse this year.  PATS WIN.

Broncos -

This is the only game I can point to and think that the Patriots  could legitimately lose on their schedule.  The Broncos defense is lights out, Denver is the home team and although he's not the player he once was the other QB's last name is still Manning.  I expect this to be close but Brady will pull  this one out.  PATS WIN.

Eagles -

Sam Bradford is their QB.  That should be enough but I'll give you a little more anyway.  Bill Belichik is probably tired of hearing about Chip Kelly's offensive innovations and he will set out to embarrass the Eagles.  Also the Pats are home at Gillette Stadium.  PATS WIN.

Texans -

This is a joke.  PATS WIN.

Titans -

This is a bigger joke.  PATS WIN.

Jets -

The Jets defense was really good the first 5 weeks of the season but they have been awful lately and unless N.Y. plays a perfect and I mean perfect game top to bottom Brady will find a weakness and destroy them.  PATS WIN.

Dolphins -

The only way the Dolphins stand a chance is that this game will no doubt be completely meaningless to the Patriots.  If for any reason New England calls off the dogs and rests keys starters for the playoffs Miami could maybe steal a win.  Calling off the dogs however is not in Belichik's nature.  PATS WIN.

Don't get confused...I hate the Patriots.  It seems though that they are flat out better than every other team in this league right now.  Unless Tom Brady get seriously injured I think they will go undefeated.
