From the "Mommy Files" comes the story of an unconventional way for people to learn about drug abuse and addiction. The scary photo showed a Ohio mother posing with her children in front of her dead husband's open casket. Eva Holland lost her 26 year old husband, Mike to a heroin overdose and decided to take a rather unorthodox approach to show others what happens if you choose addiction over recovery.

Holland posted on Facebook on Sept 10 when she wrote, "I'm sure this photo makes a lot of people uncomfortable and it may piss a few people off, but the main reason I took it was to show the reality of addiction. If you don't choose recovery every single day, this will be your only way out."

Mike's troubles began during his teenage years when he was prescribed pain medication and became hooked on the drug. He chose rehab and stopped using until a toothache gave him an excuse to reach for the nasty painkillers which proved to be his gateway drug which led him down the darkest path to heroin addiction. The FB post was shared over 280,000 times as people from all over the globe thanked her for openly and honestly showing the horrors of drug addiction.
