Why Are We Obsessed With ‘Winning’?

Personally I think the lesson of learning to "lose graciously" is a major part of what forms us. Apparently I'm in the minority. And now there's a website that wants to pat you on the back! Check it out.

Life is hard. Get over it - move on - you'll be a better person for it. You aren't going to "WIN" every time you try. And the fact that most kids sports,when they are young, embraces the idea that every child wins is kind of crazy to me.

That said, I stumbled on this website that first made me scowl. Then when I checked it out it made me laugh my ass off.

So - here you go - you can pay to send someone a "Participation Trophy" along with a plaque that says, "You Tried."
