Please help us stock up Hillside Food Outreach

We've got the RV in place, the tents set up, the donation collectors are ready! Camping for Cans 2015 starts off bright and early tomorrow morning, 6AM, Friday November 20, with the i95 Morning show live on scene in the Berkshire Shopping Center in Danbury. Ethan and Lou, Pam Brooks, Tim Sheehan and I are going to be out there live, and we'll have the camp staffed, around the clock, right through Sunday afternoon.

If you are out and about, and your travels take you anywhere near Exit 8 of I-84/Newtown Road in Danbury, please stop by and hang out, if you feel like making a donation, thank you!

We are Camping out to help Hillside Food Outreach, which is an excellent local organization. Hillside has been helping out people in need of assistance for many years, and they are well-respected in our community. Hillside helps by feeding families, single-parent households, veterans, people living with disabilities, and individuals going through very hard times. A simple can of soup, a jar of peanut butter and some crackers, mac and cheese, etc can go so far in improving the quality of a person's life.

So, take a look through your cupboards, purchase a few extra items while you're at Stop & Shop or C-Town. The simple act of taking 5 minutes out of your day and dropping off a non-perishable food item to us may literally save someone's life, or, at least give them a moment of comfort. Thank you for helping us help them.
