Who Had the Saddest TV Show Death?

We all do it, we fall in love with a TV show and then pick our favorite characters. 

Then when one of those characters is killed off it can be sad.  They are no longer a part of your little world.  The worst for me was when Opie was killed off on Sons of Anarchy.

Opie was as solid a guy (yes i know he is not real) as you could get.  He was solid as a rock.  He was always loyal, he had his friends backs and he never wavered.  He was feared by his enemies and Oh Man I'm gushing...like a lady.   What is my problem?

The point is Opie was "The Man" on that show and we had to see him taken down in prison with lead pipe to the head.  Not cool man.  Not cool.  Kurt Sutter screwed us all on that one.

I actually heard that he got crazy hate mail after that episode aired.  Death threats and all.
