Super Bowl 51 is in Houston, Texas this year. The NFL has to decide where to move these eye sores, starting now. That is how they see them. It's no secret that in past years, there has been a concerted effort to shuffle them off the streets, and get them away from tourists paying top dollar.

According to the Chicago Tribune, homeless people living under a highway overpass in Houston were kicked out over the Thanksgiving holiday. Some of the homeless that were moved, speculate they were booted for preparations in advance of Super Bowl 51, set to take place in Houston.

This is not the first time that the NFL has been accused of kicking homeless populations out of Super Bowl cities. The accusations have been flying for quite awhile.

If you consider the money that the NFL corporation makes for the cities that host teams, then you can start to imagine the potentials. They have a financial interest in this. You are talking about the committees that determine the game's location, the owners of the teams, the governors of the states where the game is played, the mayors of the city where the game is played, the local officials tasked with the removing the homeless to make way for the high paying tourist, and you find yourself thinking about corruption.

What will they do for Houston and the upcoming Super Bowl? If I were an executive tasked with this problem, I would ship them to Austin. Hell, there are so many hipsters there, that you would not even be able to tell the difference between the hipsters and the homeless. It is Derelicte from Zoolander all over again. Hipsters love looking homeless, it just costs more for them.
