Seems to be an infestation of creepy crawlers. What's on the loose in New Haven?

Just last week I blogged about an outbreak of bed bugs on the campus of Yale University in New Haven. According to nbcconnecticut.com, there appears to more at another school in town.

Parents at Hillhouse High School in New Haven are understandably upset after bedbugs were found at that school. Hillhouse sent a letter home to parents to announce the discovery, but they are calling it an isolated case.

However, a parent of a student told the New Haven Register that the school has been dealing with bedbugs for weeks, and Hillhouse High School officials are claiming it all is just a rumor.

The rumor part got me to thinking. The high school is only a five minute or so drive from Yale. We're talking a distance of just over a mile. Maybe the critters were exhausted by trying to obtain a higher education at Yale and decided it was time to go back to basics. I know from what I've read, that schools are not necessarily known as a breeding ground for bed bugs, but maybe in this case there is a connection. Here's hoping they figure it out.
