We will start part 8 of the Most memorable moments in NFL history on a happy note for me.  Marcus Allen's amazing TD run in Super Bowl 18 versus the Washington Redskins.

"Allen Reverses Field"

As a Raiders fan I do not have a lot of great moments to cling to.  In fact I was way too young to even enjoy this one when it happened but I have seen it so many times I could emulate it with my eyes closed.  Of course at some point I would trip and fall.

"Earl Campbell doesn't need no stinking jersey"

To this day many of the great former NFL running backs will tell you that Earl Campbell of the Houston Oilers was the greatest power back that ever lived.  I've only seen this footage about 1,436,352 times in my life.  It never gets old to see Earl literally climb out of his shirt.

"Steve Young shreds the Minnesota defense"

In 1988 mobile quarterbacks were not a dime a dozen.  In today's NFL you have to be mobile to even make the team.  Back then there were a handful and Steve Young was the best of them.  This was the greatest run of Steve's amazing career.

"Victor Cruz goes for 99 yards and a TD against the Jets"

Both teams were in playoff contention and needed the game.  The Giants got it.

"Bo Jackson runs over Brian Bosworth"

Brian Bosworth was supposed to be the baddest man on the planet but it did not take much for Bo Jackson to run through him.

I will continue this series right up until kickoff of Super Bowl 50.  If you have a suggestion leave it here or call the Ethan and Lou Morning Show at 203-775-9595 weekday mornings between 5:30-10am.
