Waterbury’s Restaurant Week Features Some of CT’s Best

All of you little Connecticut towns that pull together "Restaurant Weeks" listen up: Waterbury's line-up is stocked with some of the state's finest restaurants, so don't schedule yours the week of September 11-16.

Waterbury Regional Chamber announced via their Facebook page that Woodbury's Market Place has joined the already stellar list of restaurants that will offer special prix fixe lunch and dinners.

Other local places that have already been announced are a bomb squad of culinary destinations. Some of my favorite restaurants are involved,  Highland Avenue's La Tavola, consistently mentioned as one of CT's best leads the list. Also participating are Spartan's, Vasi's, San Marino, Nino's, Tiramisu, Diorio's, 92 Bank, Pies & Pints, and Jessie Camille's.

More restaurants are expected to sign up to participate. This is Waterbury's first attempt to pull off a restaurant week. Our stomachs are the victor here.
