She's adorable, she's smart, and she has excellent taste in music.

Meet Alana, a two year old (two-and-a-half to be exact) who recently displayed her very impressive knowledge of the periodic table, square roots and, yes, Van Halen on camera for the world to see.

In this YouTube video you'll witness Alana being put to the test by her mom and dad as she is shown several different cards displaying a series of different letters. Alana's job is to figure out which element on the periodic table they belong to. After Alana passes that test with flying colors she's on to her next challenge - square roots. Once again she nails it.

Then comes Alana's ultimate test. At around the 6:57 mark of the video she is asked by her dad to name songs from Van Halen's 1978 debut album according to the track number. So, can Alana correctly guess tracks 10, 2, 1, 11, 5 and 6 of the album in that order? Just watch the video and see for yourself.

Welcome Alana - the newest member of Van Halen Nation!
