The Ives Conert Park in Danbury is a whole lot closer to home than Soldier Field in Chicago

Yes, the Ives is going to stream the concert live from Soldier Field onto the big screen Friday July 3rd. But they're doing so much more to make it a memorable evening! The gates are opening at 3PM tomorrow, with the live simulcast beginning at 8PM. Before the simulcast, 5 bands will be rocking the Ives stage, including Shakedown, Symphonic Bodega, Bobby Paltauf, Red Planet and Father Nelson and the Backsliders. There will be some unique vendors, food and drink, and I'll be broadcasting live from 4-6PM. Looking at the weather forecast, it's going to be an absolutely beautiful day too!

Here's one of my favorite Grateful Dead song, a version of Fire on The Mountain recorded at Philadelphia's JFK Stadium on July 7th, 1989. Enjoy! And I'll see you at the Ives Friday July 3rd!
