Earlier this week, our community heard all about the Wilton High School Students that chanted "Build the Wall" at Danbury Students during Friday night's varsity football game. Due to the fact that Danbury is a proudly diverse community, the chants were viewed as a an offensive form of racism. Danbury's Mayor Mark Boughton joined the Ethan & Lou Show this morning to discuss the fallout from the incident.

Also, we needed to hear from the Mayor on why it's important to donate to the Hillside Food Outreach and he delivered. He also addressed the story about a local vandal who has been spray painting swastikas in Danbury.

Big thanks to Mark Boughton for taking time out of his day to come by Camping for Cans. Please do the same. Bring down your non-perishable food items, cash and check made out to Hillside Food Outreach and do your part this holiday season. We are live all weekend in the Berkshire Shopping Center in Danbury. We wrap up at 4pm Sunday. Be sure to join us for the after party at Lakeside Pub starting at 5pm.
