Drive down Main Street South in Southbury and stop at Denmo's!

With the opening of Chip's in Southbury, the food scene has gotten a bit more exciting along Main Street South. Chip's may be all the rage at the moment, but there's a place that has consistently been serving up great burgers, clam rolls, charred hot dogs, and ice cream for years--Denmo's.

I grew up in Waterbury, so Frankie's is near and dear to my heart. Denmo's is almost the same in style and service. I've been eating at Denmo's since the 80's, they've been open since 1978.

The cuisine at Denmo's is excellent, the burgers are served up juicy and to your liking, the dogs are charred and split, the whole-belly clams are lightly breaded and fried up to perfection. Milkshakes, floats, lobster rolls, outrageous onion rings, curly fries, poppers, and even soups.

You got it good Southbury, eat your pancakes at Chip's, your burger and dog for lunch at Denmo's, and cap off your evening at Senor Pancho's with a margarita and chimichanga. You'll never have to drive off of Main Street South again!
