Roll up those sleeves, and if you've already been "sleeve'd", we want to know, who you think is the best tattoo shop in our area? I guess we could break it down Ink Master-style and bust into categories: Traditional, Realistic, etc. But I'm no Dave Navarro, or that other choad that constantly chews on matchsticks. So, we'll keep it simple - who do you love, baby?

My personal choice when it came to getting ink was Jeff Lambert at Brass City Tattoo, located at 2 Congress Ave in Waterbury. I got Mrs. Large's name tattooed on my ring finger for Valentine's Day in 2011. Jeff listened to my idea, sketched out a beautiful rendering of Lydia's name, and etched it into my skin. I've gotten so many compliments over the years, I'm 100% pleased with the results. BUT that said, we're looking at what's going on here in Greater Danbury this time.

There are so many tattoo artists here in the Greater Danbury area that are no doubt deserving, but alas, there can only be one who holds the crown. We recently asked you on our Facebook page to nominate your favorite artist and we got tons of responses. So what we did is go through them all, and we came up with the top artists in the area.

Now, we're leaving it up to you to cast your vote. So think about the tattoo artist who you think lays down the best ink.

You'll have until Thursday night, January 31 at 11:59 pm to cast your vote, then we will announce the most popular artist on Friday morning, Feb. 1.

Not only will the top vote-getter earn the on-air recognition, but you will also have the honor of being the "Most Popular Tattoo Artist In Greater Danbury" bestowed upon you.

So vote now, and tell your friends to vote, because we're sure you want to get your next ink job from the very best in the area.

I'd love to hear and see who you trust your skin to.
