Flying out of Connecticut just got a little snazzier. Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks now has a new spot for you to escape to while you wait to really escape.

Whether you fly a lot or just occasionally, I think you'll find this new concept at Bradley in Windsor Locks Connecticut very appealing. If you're like me when you have a flight, you try to alleviate as much stress as possible. I prefer to get to the airport with enough time before my departure to enjoy a meal and a few glasses of wine. Of course, you can pay dearly for that. My last trip, I plunked down $19 for a glass of wine!

Exactly why I'm loving this new concept. Enter the Escape Lounge.

In a press release from MAG USA, Rosemarie Andolino, President and CEO of MAG USA, said:

I am delighted to announce MAG USA’s third major win in less than a year. Hartford will be the first Escape Lounge on the East Coast and we hope it will enable Bradley Airport to win over new passengers by offering them a high quality experience as they travel through the airport

Here's why I love this idea. You pay a flat fee of $45, which gets you unlimited food prepared by an award-winning local chef, along with unlimited beer, wine and liquor. Some premium brands are an up-charge, but I figure I can drink and eat my way though more than that 45 dollar price in no time. There is also free WiFi and many power outlets for charging up devices.

You can reserve a spot online in advance at escapelounge.com, BUT you don't have to, they can accommodate walk ins. You don't need to be flying any specific airline to use the Escape Lounge, because it's a common-use spot located in the East Concourse, at the entrance to gates 1 to 12.

You can escape to the Escape Lounge early. It opens at 5:30 a.m. every day.

Hope I don't miss my next flight because I'm relaxing so thoroughly in the lounge!
