Today Is National Flip Flop Day

So of course the shoe addict in me had to buy a new pair!I even got them delivered directly to me at i95. The wife of our very own Large Dave is my "Vera Bradley" goddess who knows what I love.

So when I heard that it's National Flip Flop Day I had to have a new pair. The story behind the special day for wearing flip flops was started nine years ago by Tropical Smoothie Cafe as a way to thank customers. They give away free smoothies on the third Friday in June to anyone wearing flip flops. National Flip Flop Day has also become a fundraiser for Camp Sunshine, a retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses. You can learn more about the camp and donate too.
