Join the Brookfield Police Department tonight and help support the amazing Special Olympics organization.

Don't cook, eat out locally tonight for a great cause.

I have no words other than gratitude for how incredible Special Olympics is. We all know it takes a lot of money to keep the organization going. If you can lend a hand tonight, while enjoying a fantastic evening out, I call that a win.

The announcement is on the Brookfield Police Department's Facebook page for tonight's event.

The TIP-A-COP fundraiser is happening at 189 Sports Cafe located at 189 Federal Road in Brookfield. The post says that Brookfield Police officers will be working with the staff of 189 tonight, Oct. 4, from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. raising money to support Connecticut's division of Special Olympics.

Here's your chance to not cook and clean up tonight. Enjoy the festivities at 189 Sports Cafe, while leaving a sweet tip that goes towards Special Olympics Connecticut.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle and gift raffle during the event.

189 Sports Cafe is right across from Costco on Federal Road. Go on out and be a part of this great cause.
