If you've ever thought about law enforcement, here's your opportunity.

Protecting and serving your town, city, or your state is a higher purpose that many aspire to. With that in mind, I wanted to share some Connecticut State Police information and links to possibly get you onto that path.

If you're interested in joining the Connecticut State Police, time is running out. Applications for the State Police Trooper Trainee and Protective Services Trainee Examinations will be accepted until Tuesday afternoon, April 11.

The Connecticut State Police also want interested people to be able to talk with troopers in person. The Connecticut Police Academy is located at 285 Preston Avenue in Meriden. You're invited to talk to troopers there Saturday April 8 from 8 a.m. until noon.

Take a step forward to protect, serve, and secure a great future for  yourself too.
