In my opinion, he is the best pitcher on a staff loaded with great pitchers, but who knew he could rake?

Noah Syndergaard hit two home runs last night against the Los Angeles Dodgers. That makes Thor only the second pitcher in Mets franchise history to do so. The first was Walt Terrell in the 80s.

This comes on the heels of 42-year-old pitcher, Bartolo Colon, hitting his first career home run last week.

As I have said before, it must be great to be a Mets fan right now. This team has it all. They have great pitching, they can hit now, and they have personality. You are talking about a team that plays loose and fast. A team that had two of its stars ride into spring training on horseback. They have Yoenis Cespedes, who takes walks into the clubhouse during the game to smoke cigarettes, and then goes out and blasts home runs. You have Matt Harvey AKA The Dark Knight.

As a Yankee fan, I am saddled with a proven cheater in A-Rod, who is aging right before our eyes, CC Sabathia, who has WAY too many innings on his body, and Mark Texeira, who is absolutely crippled by the shift, which is now common in Major League Baseball. Not a fun time to be a fan of the Bronx over Queens. I am happy for Mets fans, though. This team kind of reminds me of the swagger and the personality that the '86 team had. If they keep this group together, they can win multiple titles.
