Thompson’s in New Milford to Host Harvey Fundraiser
Communities across the country are lending a hand to the victims of Hurricane Harvey, which has decimated the Houston area over the last week.
As the flood waters recede and reveal the extent of the damage, the needs are becoming more apparent by the minute. This Wednesday night, Thompson's restaurant in New Milford will host a benefit for the victims of Harvey.
"Blues For Harvey" starts at 6 PM Wednesday at Thompson's Fine American Comfort Food at 300 Kent Road in New Milford. The evening's headliner is the Slam Allen Trio. Slam Allen was the lead singer, lead guitarist and band leader for legendary bluesman James Cotton for 9 years and is a member of the NYC Blues Hall of Fame as a Master Blues Artist.
100% of all donations will go to the American Red Cross. Reservations are strongly suggested. Reserve your table by calling 860-799-5665. I am honored to be MC'ing this event and hope to see you there as New Milford comes together to help our friends in Texas.
